Paint Correction

Over time it is inevitable that your paintwork is going to lose its lustre and depth if not looked after correctly. Contaminants stain the paint and some may not be able to be removed with just a clay bar. Paint also gets scratched in the clear coat from simply washing incorrectly. If you look closely you’ll be able to see very fine swirls on the paint; these are very irritating and spoil the whole look of a clean car.

Paint correction involves machine polishing your car to remove imperfections from paintwork. This is a time consuming process but the results are sublime, with a finish as close as possible to how your car left the factory. Please note that deep scratches will sadly not be removed, although they can be made to appear less prominently.

What's involved?

  • Traffic film remover is applied.
  • Car is pressure washed.
  • Hand washed with shampoo.
  • Tar remover is applied.
  • When the car is as clean as possible the clay process takes place.
  • Car is then re-washed.
  • Paint depth on each panel is measured and recorded.
  • Paintwork is machine polished until desired finish is achieved.
  • Glaze applied (this gives the paint extra shine).
  • Sealant is applied (this seals the glaze to prolong the shine).
  • High grade Carnauba wax is applied to your paint to finish off the look.
